Welcome to Ganondorf x Nabooru club
This club is dedicated to an unpopulair pairing of the legend of Zelda series.
WHO?
Ganondorf known as the main villian of TLOZ is the king of the Gerudo race, he wants nothing more then to have the whole Triforce in his possesion and rule the world. Later in his life he gets the Triforce of power and becomes king of Hyrule for seven years. Ganon is also known as "'The Forger of Strength" because he represents that piece.
Nabooru She is known as the second in command of the Gerudo. Nabooru is a lone wolf thief and doesn't lets herself get commanded by the likes of Ganondorf. Later on she gets brainwashed, the hero of time Link saves her and she becomes the Sage of Spirits.
WHY?
One: Ganondorf and Nabooru both are leaders of the Gerudo race, surely they know eachother pretty good and have a past together. Wether this past was romantic or not it is just a mystery fans like to think up.
Two: Ganondorf adores Nabooru. Even when she betrays him he doesn't kill her off, no instead he lets her live brainwashed. (So both of them have another mysterious seven years) After Naboorus defeat, Kotake, Koume and Ganondorf are still interested in her unlike Phantom Ganon which Ganondorf banned to another dimension after his defeat.
Three: In Windwaker Ganondorf explains why he wanted the Triforce so badly and to conquer the world. He was seeking for revenge, revenge for what he and his people had to suffer in the cold and burning desert. Ganondorf admits he cares for his people, and thus he isn't so cold hearted like most Hylians and fans think.

I agree, that if there was a Ganondorf pairing, it would have to be Nabooru and Ganondorf. No one else works.
I just like to think of Ganondorf (and Link) as a lone wolf, going it alone, because its more... fun. Thats the only way I can describe it...
Though you do provide an excellent counter arguement. if only all differences of opinion of deviant art were this civilised...

Then after he got the triforce of power he still wasn't satisfied. But after his defeat and actually being all alone in that damn sacred realm probably he cleared his mind of stuff and actually more found his old goal. Then comes Windwaker Ganondorf, he's more calm and wiser then the Oot Ganondorf. (He doesn't even loose control over the triforce of power and doesn't want to kill Link or Zelda)
Talking about his tribe was absolutely what made me fell in love with Ganondorfs character. He did cared for his people, they were always suffering and he was king of simply nothing but a dying land.
As for Twilight Princess Ganondorf. I believe he's far more insane then the Ganondorf in Oot. So I believe Ganondorf from TP matches perfectly with the one you describe.
As for emotional, yeah Ganondorf doesn't show his emotion for his weakness, I agree with that. But everybody has emotions and even Ganondorf as you can see in TP, making him more realistic then just a typical anime/game evilguy.
And I just like realistic.

but I'd just like to voice my opinion, if I may...
Ganondorf is evil. Completely. No redeeming characteristics at all. Wind Waker was a bit too much of a kids game for me, so Ganon HAD to seem to have a good side... to fit in with the style of the game.
I personally see Ganondorf is an over ambitious cruel hearted ruler. He wanted the world purely out of power hunger, rather than revenge (especially Twilight Princess).
I like Evil characters. Much more fun...
I'm not flaming this club. Infact, anything Pro-Ganondorf I'm all in favour of. I just don't think he's actually nice, and I don't think he'd tie himself down with emotional relationships. They'd be very bad if his enemies found out he had a weakness...
